Ghosted Release Date: Who Are the Cast Members in This Movie?

Unfortunately, “ghosting” has become a prevalent dating mistake in the modern digital era. In “Ghosted,” however, Chris Evans’s character, Cole, does not accept that he has been ignored. Instead, after his only date with Sadie (Ana de Armas) ends in silence, he flies to London to track her down.

The official trailer for the film was released on March 6, hinting that the results of this “romantic gesture” would be far stranger and more hazardous than he had anticipated.

Both de Armas and Evans have worked together before, but this is their first film together as co-stars. They co-starred in Rian Johnson’s “Knives Out,” released in 2019, and Netflix’s “The Gray Man,” set to release in 2022.

Evans has made it no secret that he enjoys working with de Armas, telling Collider in 2022, “she’s the first person I go to, and if she says ‘no,’ then we explore the pool… but she’s the first up.”

Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote “Deadpool,” worked on the script for “Ghosted” with Chris McKenna, and the film will be directed by Dexter Fletcher.

Aside from the next film, this year has been monumental for de Armas because she is up for best actress at the 2023 Oscars for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in “Blonde.” Ghosted seems to be the most romantic comedy-like piece de Armas has written so far, yet it still contains the action and drama for which she is known.

Meanwhile, Evans provided the voice of Buzz Lightyear in “Lightyear” (2022) and was crowned People’s Sexiest Man Alive that same year.
