Mike: The King Is Back in Season 2 of Mayor of Kingstown!

Mike is at a bar, attempting to forget about the recent events in his life by imbibing heavily. It’s been over two years since Mike’s last visit to the bar, and the woman behind the bar is the granddaughter of an old friend of Mike’s named Billy. Unfortunately, he has passed away.

Mike downs his final shot and hands the woman his car keys and gun, instructing her to store them in the safe he knew Billy kept at the bar. He’s on his way back to get them. This being his parting shot, he exits.

They return to their new Anchor Bay apartment, where Bunny surprises Raphael by bringing home a keyboard. He then informs Raphael that “today” is the day he is leaving. It’s a nice touch to give them the keyboard as a parting gift. Raphael’s facial expression shifts.

He shrugs it off and continues preparing the final meal he will share with his friend. After Bunny leaves, he will be in charge of the prison, so he is reminded of this fact. Friends don’t even come close to breaking even.

After getting off work, Kyle went home to check in with his mom, Miriam, and see if she had talked to his dad, Mike. Also, she has tried contacting Mike about getting Jacob out of Juvie, but she hasn’t been successful. When they talk, Kyle asks her to remind Mike to give him a call. Likewise, Kyle will help her out. After that, he goes out to find Mike. It appears that nobody has any idea where Mike is.

Mike is out walking around town while holding a bottle of liquor. Bunny, now back in the area, tries to call Mike but only manages to leave a voicemail inviting him to join the celebration of his return. Later on in the party, Kyle tracks down Bunny to question him about Mike’s whereabouts.

Bunny points out to Kyle that this is how it feels when a loved one disappears suddenly and no one knows whether or not he is still alive. No doubt Bunny has experienced this feeling many times and finds amusement in witnessing a police officer feeling the same way.

He promises Kyle that he will check in with his insider in Anchor Bay, who he assumes to be Raphael, to find out if he knows anything about Mike.
