Here it is again! Mando and Grogu’s return to our screens is welcome news, and while the wait hasn’t been quite as long since The Book of Boba Fett unexpectedly became The Mandalorian Season 2.5, it’s still welcome news.
The latest season of The Mandalorian has the makings of yet another smash blockbuster for the Mouse House, what with its redemption narrative, the plethora of fan service opportunities, and increased interest in Star Wars on the small screen as a result of recent successes.
An enormous winged creature called a “raptor” elsewhere, swooped down on a Mandalorian training session and grabbed Ragnar, son of Paz Vizsla, a Foundling of the Tribe.
With the help of a hunting party commanded by Mando, Paz Vizsla, and Bo-Katan, Ragnar was rescued from the raptor’s den. They brought the raptor offspring back to the hidden area to be the newest Foundlings.
Grogu’s observation of the Armorer at work triggered a memory of when he was kidnapped from Coruscant by Jedi Knight Kellerman Beq during the events of Order 66. The Armorer replaced one of Bo-spaulders Katan’s with a brand new one towards the end of the episode, and it featured the recognizable Mythosaur skull.
