It’s great to see Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston together on screen. On March 31st, Murder Mystery 2 made its debut on Netflix, reuniting the duo.
Sandler and Aniston’s on-screen pairings are always hilarious, so we’re crossing our fingers for a third installment in the Murder Mystery series. Nick and Audrey Spitz return in the sequel as rookie detectives taking on another high-profile case.
Murder Mystery 3 Release Date
According to Screenrant, Since this franchise frequently films in other countries, the COVID-19 epidemic was a major factor in the postponement of Murder Mystery 2, which was released nearly four years after Murder Mystery. Considering that the locations for Murder Mystery 2 were in Paris and Hawaii (via National World), it’s probable that Murder Mystery 3 may be released sooner than expected.
On the red carpet with ET, Sandler said production on the third film would take only six to eight weeks, putting its release date significantly closer to that of the second film.
If the sequel does well enough, it might make a strong case for a third installment of the Murder Mystery franchise. We don’t think Netflix will cease its working relationship with Sandler anytime soon, especially because the film’s ending leaves the door open for other storylines with Nick and Audrey.
