We are beyond thrilled for Yellowjackets to return for season two on Paramount+ after a break of more than a year. We’re now engrossed in the new series, which debuted last night (March 26), but we’re already looking forward to the third season, which has already been confirmed.

If you’re not familiar with Yellowjackets, it’s a mystery, thriller, and horror television series. Um, hey, where have you been?

In 1996 timeframe, a girls’ soccer team’s jet crashes as it is flying over Canada. The story takes place in two timelines. They are abandoned and must spend the subsequent 19 months surviving in the wilderness.

They still need to deal with paranormal activities and reconcile their past 25 years later.

Yes, it has! Season three of Yellowjackets will premiere in December 2022, which is before season two of this year is released in March.

Chris McCarthy, president and chief executive officer of Showtime and Paramount Media Networks, expressed the team’s excitement about locking up a second season before the debut of season three.

He explained, “We decided to maximize the momentum by fast-tracking season 3 now, given ‘Yellowjackets’ runaway success in season 1 and the pent-up expectation for season 2.

“The show’s ambition is only surpassed by its execution, and I thank the incredibly creative team behind it, including Ashley, Bart, Jonathan, eOne, and the Showtime team, for turning this into such a success,” said one of the show’s creators. So thrilling!

Yellowjackets Season 3 Release Date

According to Sources, The third season’s debut date has not yet been determined. However, we can estimate when it might occur given the season two chronology.

The show’s second season was confirmed in December 2021, and it will premiere in March 2023. Season three might debut in March 2024 if the previous seasons’ arcs are any indication, which was confirmed in December 2022. Cross your fingers!

Who Will Star in Yellowjackets Season 3?
