Manifest Season 4 Ending Explained!
“Final Boarding” starts on the morning of the death day, when Ben, Michaela, Saanvi, and TJ suddenly wake up in their tents while having some kind of panic attack. The real puzzle is how they were able to fall asleep at all since it is Death Day and Cal just disappeared.
Olive and TJ find the volcano card on a rock that has writing on it that they can’t read. Since Ben and Mick’s mother might have taken a picture of the rock when the writing was still visible, decades ago, Olive chooses to go back to the former Stone house, which is now Angelina’s cult center, to try to figure out the last hint.
Ben, Mick, Saanvi, and TJ say goodbye to Olive, Jared, Drea, and little Eden at the campsite. Angelina and her “nutjobs” are already on their way to Storm King Mountain when Olive and the others get to the house. Lucky for Angelina, Eagan, and Adrian are also going in that direction, and they slow her down by breaking down her van.
It turns out that everyone on Flight 828 saw Cal’s source of sapphire light, and they were all meeting on the spot. By the time it got dark, everyone who was still alive except Angelina and her group had arrived. Yes, this means that we get to hear another one of Ben’s inspiring talks.
The arrival of the Montengo Airways Flight 828 Plane cuts short Ben’s speech, which is a good thing. Cal was able to get it back by using his gem and the driftwood, so Angelina’s failure to help didn’t matter in the end.
As people are getting on the plane, Angelina and her group show up and tell everyone to get off. She thinks that the ark is only meant to save her and her group of people who can shoot. Angelina is surprised when her gem loses its glow, her flock leaves her, and an earthquake puts her in Ben’s hands.
Back at the house, Olive finds the last piece of the puzzle. On the rock is written, “Forgiveness lightens the heart.” This whole thing wasn’t just about fixing Callings; Ben also had to pardon Angelina. If he gets his way, everything will be over.
Ben makes the right choice as he stands there pointing a shotgun at Angelina. He doesn’t leave her to die; instead, he takes her on the plane. After everyone got on the plane and tightened their seatbelts, Captain Amuta and his co-pilot, Michaela Stone, took off. During the flight, two things happen: people start to collapse on their own, leaving only ash, and the volcanoes on the ground start to explode.
Eagan chooses to die instead of Adrian, who is about to turn to dust. Both of them make it. Ben saves Saanvi just in time when she’s about to fall apart. Angelina talks nonsense about being an angel, but she and everyone else in her group still gets dusted.
Eleven people die in the explosions before a dark figure rises from Angelina’s body. Ben and Michaela tell the shadow about all the nice things the 828-ers have done by following their Callings over the past five and a half years. This makes the shadow go away. So How did the Manifest End?
When the plane door finally opens, on April 7, 2013, the people on board land in New York. Yes, it was the exact date and time that the plane was supposed to land the first time. The rest of the world doesn’t know what’s going on, so Ben can go back to Grace and his two kids, and Michaela can find Jared waiting for her at the airport.
After telling him that they want different things and that he should be with her friend Drea, she remembers that Zeke works at an airport and gets into his car, knowing that they are going to be together. The people who the greater power thought were not good enough are said to be missing. You can watch Manifest on Netflix.
Conclusion
Cal and Angelina are going to have a huge fight in Part 2 of Season 4 of Manifest, which will have 10 more episodes.
