Summer at the Jersey Shore

The weather is stunning, and the Shore is rich with events and nightlife. The sky takes on vibrant colors and the sunsets are memorable. the shore is the perfect place to relax all year long. The restaurants and shops take on a festive and colorful look and the beaches are alive and perfect for a summer day of sun and surf.

Wildwood Cornhole Tournament


The bags will fly on the Wildwoods beach (between Wildwood & Oak Avenues) during this double elimination tournament. Teams of two will compete in the popular tailgating bean bag toss game. 10:30am start.

The Parade will delight spectators lining the oceanfront Promenade, 34th to 44th Street. It will feature a small army of children, ranging from newborns to age 10, who will appear wearing costumes, riding on floats or strolling along in their Sunday Best attire.

Ultimate Beach Frisbee Tournament


It’s the largest beach Frisbee tournament in the world, featuring more than 400 teams from all over the globe! This annual event is held on the beach at Schellenger Avenue. The tournament is a 4-on-4 team competition for players of all skill levels, ages 18 and over. FREE to spectators.

A Wildwoods tradition since 1909. Parade steps off at 6pm and proceeds up the famous Wildwoods Boardwalk from Convention Center to 16th Street in North Wildwood. Registration ends 5:30pm.

Festival of Lights Boat Parade


Boat Parade begins at 7:30pm at Yacht Club of Stone Harbor (9001 Sunset Dr) Basin. All are invited to participate with decorated boats and decorated bay front properties

Tri the Wildwoods Triathlon, 5K & Kids Tri


Storm the Boards, Run the Piers! Event will feature a Triathlon, 5K and Wild Child Triathlon at 15th St. and the beach. SPRINT = .25 mile swim, 10 mile bike & 3.1 mile run. OLYMPIC = .6 mile swim, 18.5 mile bike & 5 mile run. 5K RACE = 3.1 mile run (begins at 8 a.m.) WILD CHILD TRIATHLON= .25 mile swim, 2 mile bike, 1 mile run (begins at 9 a.m.)
