Enjoy a sampling of mouth-watering dishes and decadent desserts from dozens of the Wildwoods’ finest restaurants and specialty shops. Held at the Bolero Resort, 3320 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood. All proceeds benefit the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce Foundation and scholarships for area high school students. 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. An auction of fantastic prizes will be held. Tickets are available at the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce Office in advance or at the door the night of the event. $25 per person.

The Spring Boardwalk Classic Car Show takes place every Mother’s Day weekend along the famous Wildwoods Boardwalk. Cars in the Spring Classic can be any make or model but must be at least 10 years of age or older.  The vehicles will line the boardwalk on Friday and Saturday only from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Top 40 cars will be displayed in the turn around circle in front of the Wildwoods Convention Center from 5 p.m.-10 p.m. on Saturday and again from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. on Sunday. An awards ceremony will also take place on Sunday inside the Convention Center from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Participants can enjoy exclusive events throughout the weekend including a kick-off dinner party and discounts/specials provided by local restaurants and businesses. 

Spring Boardwalk Classic Car Show

Largest kite festival in North America held on the beach at Rio Grande Avenue in Wildwood and inside the Wildwoods Convention Center.  Event begins on Friday at noon with the Unlocking of the Ocean media event outside of the Wildwoods Convention Center.  Festivities following include opening of the kite sales tent, a Friday night social via the local kite club and the 9 p.m. illuminated kite fly.  Saturday includes the silent and loud auctions (open to all) and Saturday & Sunday include the flying of large inflatable kites, sport kite demo’s, team flying as well as family games.  Monday features the World Indoor Kite Competition inside the Wildwoods Convention Center.  FREE to spectators.

Downtown Wildwood Inaugural Bacon Lovers Festival

DJ & live bands.  FREE family & kids activities (to include but not limited to corn hole, kan jam, lawn jenga, connect four, face painting).  Wine and craft beer tasting and sales in garden/tent area.  Bacon eating contest on Sunday.  Be sure to visit the great Downtown Wildwood shops, bars and restaurants while you are here!  Sat: 2 p.m. – 10 p.m., Sun: Noon – 10 p.m., Mon: Noon – 6 p.m.


Downtown Wildwood Farmer’s Market Season #6 Kick-off

The Downtown Wildwood Farmer’s Market will kick-off it’s 2019 Season from 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., rain or shine featuring a kick-off ceremony and unveiling of the season’s DOOWW magnet designs at 10 am!

The market is located at Byrne Plaza, Oak and Pacific Avenues, Wildwood featuring farm fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, plants, homemade baked goods, honey, wine, guacamole, herbs, nuts, organic tea, jams, jellies, jewelry, soaps, and handmade non-food items. Wildwood Memorial Day Ceremony

May 27

Memorial Day Ceremonies at the Wildwood American Legion Post #184, 4200 Atlantic Ave. in Wildwood at 11 a.m. featuring speakers, recognition of deceased comrades, firing squad, “Taps” and wreath laying ceremonies at the Post, the Memorial Walk, and at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. Police Explorers will also lay a wreath in the ocean along with Wildwood’s Beach Patrol behind the Wildwoods Convention Center. Hosted by the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 955 and the American Legion Post #184.











New Year’s in North Wildwood Mummers Brigade & String Band Show

Jun 7-8

Both the top Mummers Brigades AND top Mummers String Bands from the New Year’s Day Parade in Philadelphia will entertain crowds in the pub district of North Wildwood. The excitement kicks off Friday night at 6 p.m. with the Fancy Brigade Pub Crawl through local drinking establishments in the North Wildwood Entertainment District. A colorful Mummers parade will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday along Olde New Jersey Avenue where you can get up-close views of the beautiful costumes and intricate dance steps. (Fancy Brigades begin at 3 p.m. and the String Band Grand Finale begins at 4:30 p.m.) Rain date is Sunday. Admission is FREE, so come join in the fun and learn the famous Mummers Strut!
